Gingerbread Mania

Invibio creates the biomaterials found in many advanced medical devices. To be “inside” a product is a unique position for any company to be in, especially for marketing. To thank customers at the end of 2009, Invibio sought to create a memorable holiday greeting that combined two unrelated elements: 1) holiday spirit; and 2) medical devices. With help from Holterhaus, Invibio created “Gingerbread Mania,” an interactive game in which participants must quickly place a series of medical devices into a gingerbread man (à la “Operation“).

3M: social media strategy

3M’s Projections Systems Division is a true innovator among imaging technology manufacturers. To better understand the online conversations surrounding its brand, especially emerging technologies, 3M needed to assess its social media reputation. After conducting a comprehensive review of relevant blogs and other social sites, I prepared a conclusive report of findings and developed an actionable social media strategy, which included recommendations for 3M’s own projection technology blog.

Invibio: 10 year anniversary

Invibio is a global leader in biomaterials manufacturing. Based in the UK, Invibio creates the innovative materials found in many medical devices. To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of its PEEK-OPTIMA polymer, a cornerstone product, the company launched an integrated communications campaign. The work features flash advertising, a dynamic landing page, email postcards, and tradeshow support, such as booth signage and an animated slide loop. [photo set]
